一般社団法人スイングバイスカラーシップ代官山は、「生まれた環境で未来が決まってしまう」という現実に向き合い、その連鎖を断ち切るために設立されました。学びたいのに学べない、挑戦したいのに一歩を踏み出せない――そんな子どもたちの声にならない想いに、私たちは光を届けたいと願っています。通塾支援や海外経験支援、ヤングケアラー支援を通じて、一人ひとりの可能性に寄り添い、その小さな一歩を未来へとつなげていきます。どんな境遇にあっても「自分の人生を選べる」と信じられる社会を実現するために、私たちは歩み続けます。
代表理事からのメッセージ
私はこれまで、教育の現場と事業の両方に関わる中で、何度も強く感じてきたことがあります。
それは、「能力や意欲ではなく、環境によって未来の選択肢が制限されてしまう現実」です。
本来、子どもたちは誰もが「学びたい」「挑戦したい」という純粋な力を持っています。
しかし、経済的事情や家庭環境、置かれている状況によって、その芽が育つ前に閉ざされてしまうことがある。
その現実に直面するたびに、私はずっと問い続けてきました。
「このままでいいのだろうか」と。
私自身、人生の中で“出会い”や“機会”によって、大きく道が拓かれた経験があります。
だからこそ今度は、その機会を届ける側でありたい。
その想いから、この一般社団法人スイングバイスカラーシップ代官山を立ち上げました。
この団体は、単なる奨学金支援にとどまるものではありません。
通塾支援、海外経験支援、ヤングケアラー支援などを通じて、子どもたち一人ひとりの可能性に寄り添い、
「一歩踏み出せる環境」をつくることを目指しています。
また、私がこれまで運営してきた学びの場には、
子どもたちが安心して戻ってこられる“寺子屋のような場所”でありたいという想いがありました。
誰かに評価されるためだけではなく、
自分自身を肯定し、未来を信じる力を育てる場所です。
これからの時代、教育はさらに大きく変化していきます。
AIやテクノロジーが進化する中で、
だからこそ
「人が人を信じる力」「自分を信じる力」
が、より重要になると私は考えています。
私たちは、そうした時代の中で、テクノロジーと人の温かさの両方を大切にしながら、
子どもたちの未来に伴走していきます。
どんな環境に生まれたとしても、どんな状況に置かれていたとしても、
子どもたちが「自分の人生を自分で選べる」と信じられる社会へ。
その実現に向けて、これからも一歩一歩、歩み続けてまいります。
